Why Coaching?

Teen life coaching helps teens to develop resilience, confidence and independence. It builds valuable skills to carry into adult life. 

Teenage years are full of growth and change.  It’s a time of significant emotional development, learning, exploration and growth, which can be fun and full of adventure at some times, and it can also be a time of worry, anxiety, confusion and self-doubt in the midst of trying to figure it all out. 

It is an incredible time to learn, explore, test limits and figure out who you are, who you want to be and what values are most important to you.

 

But how do you figure this all out?

With the support, guidance and accountability of a coach you can test tools and methods that will break through the clutter for you. A key benefit of working with a coach is having the dedicated space and support to explore different ways of doing things in order to find the way that works for you!

Your Coaching Journey

Introductory Discovery Session

A free 20-30 minute introductory session is an opportunity to connect and see if teen empowerment coaching and working with me feels like the right fit for you/your teen right now. This collaborative session will include the coachee and their parent(s) or guardian(s). You can all ask any questions you may have and I will also outline further our ways of working and expectations to ensure we all move forward with comfort, clarity and understanding.

Weekly One-on-One Coaching Sessions

One-on-one coaching sessions will take place weekly for 45 minutes with a minimum of 8 sessions (2 months). Sessions can be virtual (online) or can take place in person if in the Cape Town region (appropriate and convenient location to be confirmed together in the intro session). Additional tools and resources may be provided following sessions via email as relevant and appropriate.

Midway Check-In Session

Half way through the 8-week period, we will coordinate another free 20-30 minute session to connect together with the coachee, parent(s) or guardian(s) and your coach. This session will maintain the confidentiality of the one-on-one sessions however will provide an opportunity to meet together and share any insight and feedback on the process and ask any further questions.

Unlimited Email/WhatsApp

Between sessions, the coachee may email or WhatsApp at anytime with additional questions or follow up from the prior sessions.
